Psalm 19:1

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim his handiwork.”

Red-Lined Bubble Snail is a delicate marine snail with a distinctive white shell featuring red spiral lines, known for its soft, flowing blue edged body that can wrap around its shell, making it look like a living jewel. It is also referred to as The Ocean’s Living Pearl. It is found in shallow Indo-Pacific waters, burrows in sand, and prays on small worms, noted for its unique appearance and fragile shell. Within scripture, pearls symbolize immense value, wisdom and spiritual treasures. The Kingdom of Heaven as a pearl of great price – Matthew 13:45-46; Revelation 21:21 New Jerusalem’s gates made of pearls and many more references.

Continue to learn about our magnificent firmament and stand in awe of our Creator!

New Year’s is a beautiful time of reflection. As we begin the New Year, it’s often a time of sadness as we say good-bye to days gone by. We are another year older and hopefully another year wiser. Looking back on the past year, we see things that we could have changed and prayerfully ask God to give us the wisdom to be better. We look forward to the New Year which brings us hope that we can grow closer to Him, and that our future days will bring us His peace that passes understanding through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We humans measure time by seconds, minutes, days, months and years, yet we serve a God who stands outside of time.

God has no beginning, or end and He represents un-ending existence from all eternity past into all eternity future.

God’s timeless, unchanging being contrasts with our human finite lifespan. The scriptures offer those who follow JESUS assurance of His constant presence, faithfulness and sovereign rule.

God was before time as we know it, began.

Colossians 1:17

“And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”

God’s perfect immutable nature, never changes. Unlike our world which changes second by second.

Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I do not change…”

Through Jesus Christ we have such incredible HOPE. God’s promises are certain! They are constant and extend through eternity!

King David wrote Psalm 41 and he was experiencing one of the lowest points in his life. Yet he was able to conclude his prayer for mercy with blessings and praise to God…

“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.” Amen and Amen”

David acknowledged that His God – the God of Israel – was an eternal God.

All that God is, including His blessedness, exists from everlasting to everlasting.

Can we comprehend everlasting to everlasting, when we can only grasp the life expectance of an Eveready battery?

Psalm 41:13 highlights “eternity past” and “unending time going on into the future; forever”.

God is worthy to receive praise from eternity past, now and forever after. Ever since the beginning of time and until the future with no end, God was, is, and ever shall be blessed.

1 Chronicles 16:36 “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,

from everlasting to everlasting.

Then all the people said ‘Amen’ and Praise the Lord”.

The Apostle Paul said in Romans 9:5

“He is God,

the one who rules over everything

and is worthy of eternal praise!

Amen!”

Nehemiah 9:5

The Levites call to the people to “stand up and praise the Lord your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting.

Isaiah identifies God as “Everlasting Father”

Jeremiah 10:10 shares that “He is the true God; he is the living God and the everlasting King

From Genesis to Revelation, He is the “Everlasting God” who lives and reigns forever and ever”

Genesis 21:33 and Revelation 10:6

Revelation 11:14 gives stern warning for those outside of Christ. For their torment will also be eternal…forever and ever.

We serve the Creator of the Universe and everything that He IS, exists from everlasting to everlasting.

His NAME and HIS RENOWN are eternal.

His great LOVE and faithfulness endure forever.

Habakkuk 3: 6

“He stood and measured the earth;

he looked and shook the nations; then the eternal mountains were scattered;

the everlasting hills sank low.

His were the everlasting ways.”

God’s WORD exists from everlasting to everlasting!

Nothing came before God, and nothing will ever come after Him.

Revelation 22:13

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,

the First and the Last,

the Beginning and the End.”

As we read in Psalm 145, David praised the LORD in his darkest hour, because he trusted in his “Eternal Rock” as we read in Isaiah 26:4

Christians who have built their lives on the foundation of Jesus Christ can rest securely in HIS EVERLASTING ARMS. Matthew 7:24-27 & Ephesians 2:20 and Deuteronomy 33:27.

Our days should be filled with JOY over our Faith in God and all He has done for us! From Everlasting to everlasting,

KEEP SINGING and PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME….

LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS

What a fellowship, what a joy divine,
Leaning on the Everlasting Arms!
What a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
Leaning on the Everlasting Arms!

Leaning, leaning,
Safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning,
Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.

O how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way,
Leaning on the Everlasting Arms!
O how bright the path grows from day to day,
Leaning on the Everlasting Arms!

What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
Leaning on the Everlasting Arms!
I have peace complete with my Lord so near,
Leaning on the Everlasting Arms!

Revelation 22:12-13
“Behold, I am coming soon!
My reward is with me,
and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.

I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the First and the Last,
the Beginning and the End.”

To God be the glory great things He hath done!
