Good morning church family,
Ephesians 2:10

GIVING THANKS & PRAISE:
Thanks to all who attended the SHINE MINISTRY MEETING last Sunday. 15 people attended and we are all excited about the good things ahead. Great suggestions were generated about potential outreach to this community. There will be plenty of opportunities for people to use their talents towards glorifying God and serving others. Stay tuned for more details to come!
We give THANKS & PRAISE to GOD for this latest update on LEO. Leo's MRI this past week came back showing lots of improvement from his last scan. They will be dropping him down to 1 time a week clinic visits and 1 time a week anti fungals. PRAISE THE LORD! We can see the smile even past his face mask!

PRAYER REQUESTS:
Leah's Brother David Pinto's surgery went well. They took 45% of his kidney and they feel as though they got all of the cancer. Prayers for his healing.
Ron's friend Mike Gutowski asked for prayers for his wife Claire who had a heart attack.
Debbie Christy asked for prayers for her friend Maura who is studying for her LCSW exam.
Mary Warren's friend Jenna Strickland whom we've prayed for previously is not doing well and in the ICU. She has many health challenges (cystic fibrosis, double lung transplant and cancer). She is only 34 years old.

“The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim his handiwork.” Psalm 19:1
The Blob fish is a gelatinous wonder and inhabitant of the deep sea, living at pressures that would squish us all!
This fish resides at depths of 600 to 1200 meters where the pressure is 60 to 120 times greater than sea level. It looks one way under the water, and another when it is OUT of the water!
Their “blob” image is actually a result of decompression. When removed from their high-pressure environment, their bodies collapse and turn into a blob-like shape.
The Blob fish is not flashy or colorful. Their appearance is gelatinous & approximately 30 centimeters long. Its density and coloration is perfectly designed by God as it is camouflaged in the deep dark depths of the sea. It allows itself to float above the sea floor without wasting energy in one of the most inhospitable places on earth.
They are of no danger to humans and are opportunistic feeders living off whatever the ocean currents bring their way. They are passive creatures which drift through the deep sea, living a life of solitude.
As we gaze upon God's incredible creation, may we stand in awe of our Creator who has purpose for ALL THINGS!
As Christians in this fallen world we can often feel down, dejected, depressed and broken. Life is difficult and we grow weary and discouraged. We can at times relate to the Blob Fish.
The scriptures remind us that we are created in God's image.
“So God created mankind
in his own image,
in the image of God
he created them;
male and female he created them.”
Genesis 1:27
God chose to create us and we are HIS Masterpiece!
Ephesians 2:10
“For we are God's handiwork,
created in Christ Jesus
to do good work,
which God prepared for us to do.”
When we look in the mirror, we are looking at the masterpiece of God's creation.
He chose us, IN CHRIST, before the creation of the world! Ephesians 1:4-6
We are a masterpiece created by God who fashioned us to reflect His glory.
We are FEARFULLY and WONDERFULLY made!
Psalm 139:14
We were intentionally designed to BEAR THE IMAGE OF THE ALMIGHTY. Jeremiah 29:11
We are LOVED– Ephesians 3:17-19
We are STRONG – Psalm 18:39
We are each UNIQUELY DESIGNED AND ONE OF A KIND! Psalm 139:13
The Psalmist in Psalm 45:11 tells the King's bride that the king desires her beauty. The King of Kings, the LORD looks upon His bride, the Church as beautiful!
We are PRECIOUS to God! 1 Corinthians 6:20
We are a CHOSEN GENERATION! 1 Peter 2:9
In CHRIST we are FORGIVEN!
Psalm 103:12
We are a NEW CREATION! 2 Corinthians 5:17
We are PROTECTED! Psalm 121:3
We are empowered by the Holy Spirit and can do ALL THINGS! Philippians 4:13
We are in GOD'S FAMILY! Ephesians 2:19-22
WE ARE HIS! Isaiah 43:1
We must remember that GOD'S power is not limited by our own disappointments or our own expectations in this life. He brings us to going far beyond what we can imagine!
We are MORE THAN CONQUERORS! Romans 8:37
IN CHRIST there is the limitless power of God to far surpass our comprehension!
CHRIST lives in US! Galatians 2:20
No matter what your circumstances, don't be discouraged!
WE HAVE MUCH TO SING ABOUT SO KEEP ON SINGING:
TEN THOUSAND REASONS
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
O my soul,
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before,
O my soul
I'll worship Your Holy Name
The sun comes up,
its a new day dawning,
It's time to sing Your song again,
Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me,
Let me be singing when the evening comes.
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
O my soul,
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before,
O my soul
I'll worship Your Holy Name
You're rich in love and You're slow to anger
Your name is great and Your heart is kind
For all Your goodness, I will keep on singing
Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find.
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
O my soul,
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before,
O my soul
I'll worship Your Holy Name
And on that day when my strength is failing,
the end draws near and my time has come,
Still, my soul will sing Your praise un-ending
Ten thousand years and then forevermore….
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
O my soul,
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before,
O my soul
I'll worship Your Holy Name
Sing like never before,
O my soul,
I'll worship Your Holy Name
I'll worship Your Holy Name.
PSALM 139
Lord you read by very heart
You who know the least thing
You who see me from afar
Sleeping or arising!
Lord before me and behind,
infinite and ageless,
Such a knowledge is too high,
I cannot attain it.
If to heaven I would fly,
You would be beside me,
If in Sheol I would like,
Even there You'd find me.
If I plant on morning wings,
far beyond the gray sea,
Even there Your hand would lead
Your right hand would guide me.
How wonderful!
How marvelous!
How mighty are you GOD!
The darkness is as light to YOU
How boundless are Your ways.
In the secret of the womb
I was formed and molded
By your skillful hand alone,
Wonderfully woven!
You have numbered all my days,
Long before You gave them
In the pages of Your book
They have all been written.
High and wondrous are your thoughts
Vast beyond all telling
If I count them they grow more
I can never grasp them
Search me God and know my heart
Let evil never find me,
Lead me on your righteous path
sure and everlasting.
Remember how incredibly special YOU are!
Philippians 1:6
To God be the glory great things He hath done!
