Good morning to our church family,
GIVING THANKS:
* Thanks to all of you for serving this body of believers. So many of you work behind the scenes, humbly serving our LORD.
* Jennifer Ruiz gives much thanks to everyone for your prayers, support and encouragement while they take care of her grandson Levi. The court hearing yesterday went well and in their favor. Levi will remain with them which is wonderful news! God is SO Good!
PRAYER REQUESTS:
* Dorothea Cooper' brother-in-law Robert Highsmith passed away this week. Our prayers go out to Dorothea at this difficult time.
* Prayers for the Repecko's. Their daughter had to put down her dog after many years, and Flo & Jay had to put their cat down on Friday as well. Animals bring such joy and unconditional love and we extend our love to the families at this difficult time.
COMING UP:
The last TUESDAY LADIES BIBLE STUDIES THIS MONTH, will be next week on May 21st at 9:30 a.m. via zoom: STUDY – GENESIS.
This will be the last Tuesday ladies study and they will take a break for the summer

MAY 24-25 YOUNG ADULT LOCK IN:
There will be a young adult “lock-in” from Friday night into Saturday on May 24-25th at the church building! If you’re not familiar with what this is, they will be having a barbecue at the Repecko's / movie and game night before sleeping over at the building. Then the following morning there will be a breakfast! Please see Zach and Tori for more details.
FRIDAY JUNE 7th at 6:30 – All ladies & Teen girls are invited to our home for singing and fellowship. If you are able to come, please bring an appetizer or desert to share.

You are receiving this newsletter because in the past you have either participated in or were interested in the Friendspeak ministry at the Manchester Church of Christ—or you may be interested in learning more about this ministry. We will be providing a training for all current volunteers and new volunteers in preparation for a restart in September. Gareth Flanary will be doing the training on two Wednesday evenings in June. The training has been updated by “Let’s Start Talking”, so we are asking all volunteers to attend, even if you took the training several years ago. Attending these two training sessions does not obligate you to participate in this ministry.
