* Nadine received her PET/CT results which were stable and no signifcant changes, which is great news! She will have a full work-up at Yale for a second opinion in December.
* Mike Fernandes’s surgery went well. He looks forward to better days ahead & is grateful for all of the prayers.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
* Prayers for Margaret’s knee as she continues with rehab.
* Continued prayers for Cindy & Chris Holly as they continue to wait on God through this trial. A new Judge is being assigned which is pushing everything out a bit.
* Prayers for Mike Ross who struggles daily with chronic and intense pain. His doctor told him to keep moving, or else he will be in a wheelchair permanently. Our prayers continue to be with you Mike and Paula as well!
* Jennifer Ruiz asked for prayers for another court date coming up on Tuesday to discuss permanency for Levi. Please pray that the judge decides to give Jen & Luis permanent guardianship!
* Ray Fernandes’s Mother Eva fell and fractured her pelvis and spine.
* Emille will have a brain biopsy on the 26th. Jenna’s Mother and step-Dad will be flying up to help her watch Emiliana from Wednesday through Sunday. We pray for all to go well and for this biopsy to be a road map towards the right treatment for Emille (who fell four times last week).
* Continued prayers for Debbie Christy’s niece Carrie while she struggles with her cancer. She made the decision not to continue with chemo. Debbie’s brother is also in need of prayers since he is going through tests.
* Prayers for the families and children in Bridgeport and nationwide as they deal with uncertainty in the school setting. Bridgeport schools were closed on Thursday and Friday due to threats made by others. One of the people who made the threat was arrested. Thankfully the higher ups made the right call and everyone is safe!

“Shout with joy to God, all the earth!
Sing the glory of His name;
make his praise glorious!
Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds!
So great is your power
that your enemies cringe before you.
All the earth bows down to you,
they sing praise to your name”
To glorify God is to extol His attributes, praise His works, trust His name, and obey His Word.
The word ‘extol’ comes from the Latin word tollere, which means “to raise or elevate”. Other words that are similar to extol are ‘exalt’ and ‘exult’, which also come from Latin and have the prefix meaning “up” or “out”.
The verb ‘extol’ means to praise enthusiastically, or to glorify.
5575d945-35c6-9ca6-0b13-eac8f1bbefd1@yahoo.com>”>The Psalmist David extols the LORD beautifully in Psalm 145, where David speaks boldly about how we should praise God for who He is and what He has done. David gives us reasons to praise the LORD, recognizing His Holiness, righteousness, and omniscience.
“I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever.
Every day I will praise you
and extol your name for ever and ever.
Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
His greatness no one can fathom.
One generation commends your works to another;
they tell of your mighty acts.
They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty—
and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
They tell of the power of your awesome works—
and I will proclaim your great deeds.
They celebrate your abundant goodness
and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
The Lord is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and rich in love.
The Lord is good to all;
he has compassion on all he has made.
All your works praise you, Lord;
your faithful people extol you.
They tell of the glory of your kingdom
and speak of your might,
so that all people may know of your mighty acts
and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and your dominion endures through all generations.
The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises
and faithful in all he does.
The Lord upholds all who fall
and lifts up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food at the proper time.
You open your hand
and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and faithful in all he does.
The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth.
He fulfills the desires of those who fear him;
he hears their cry and saves them.
The Lord watches over all who love him,
but all the wicked he will destroy.
My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord.
Let every creature praise his holy name
for ever and ever.”
This Psalm beautifully depicts David ‘extolling’ GOD and why we need to do so, forever and ever.
Great is the LORD who is most worthy of praise. His Greatness no one can fathom.

As these precious teachings pass from one generation to another, they will speak of the glorious splendor of HIS MAJESTY, as we meditate on HIS WONDERFUL WORKS.
They tell of the POWER of HIS AWESOME WORKS and PROCLAIM HIS GREAT DEEDS.
We celebrate HIS ABUNDANT GOODNESS.
We Joyfully sing of HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.
His Faithful people EXTOL HIM, through all generations.
Our mouth will speak in PRAISE of the LORD.
Let every creature praise HIS HOLY NAME, forever and ever.
f2d92f6d-2e0d-c51a-66f6-42fcdd1c4fab@yahoo.com>”>When we glorify GOD, we acknowledge His greatness and splendor and laud Him for it. When we “give Him glory,” as all the world is told to do in Revelation 14:7, we direct our praise, adoration, thanksgiving, and worship to Him who alone is worthy.
Our responsibility to glorify God and extol HIM is evident from Genesis to Revelation.
In 1 Chronicles 16:17-36 outlines a model for giving all glory to GOD.…As Asaph is installed as the chief minister before the ark of God, David instructs him in the method of worship:
• Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what He has done. (verse 8)
• Proclaim the greatness of God’s name and tell the whole world what God has done (vs. 8-9, 24)
• Sing to the Lord (verses 9, 23)
• Glory, or extol, in His name (verse 10)
• Rejoice in Him (verse 10)
• Seek out the Lord and trust in His power (verse 11) • remember all the Lord’s mighty deeds (verse 12)
• Ascribe glory and strength to Him because it is His due (verses 28–29).
• Bring an offering to God (verse 29). In Asaph’s time, the offerings were in accordance with the Law of Moses; today, we are “to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is true and proper worship” Romans 12:1
• Worship the Lord in the splendor of His Holiness (verse 29)
• Give thanks to God for His goodness and love (verse 34)
• Cry out to God for deliverance (verse 35)
How important is it to EXTOL GOD?
Those who refuse to glorify God face severe judgment, as witnessed by the example of Herod usurping God’s glory in Acts 12:21-23
“On the appointed day Herod,
wearing his royal robes,
sat on his throne
and delivered a public address to the people.
They shouted, “This is the voice of a god, not of a man.”
Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God,
an angel of the LORD struck him down,
and he was eaten by worms and died.”
vs 24 “but the word of God continued to increase and spread.”

We glorify God with our words of praise and thanksgiving. Psalm 66:1
We also glorify God through our works of service for Him. Jesus said, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” Matthew 5:16
Bearing fruit for the kingdom of God also brings glory to Him . John 15:8
King Nebuchadnezzar in the book of Daniel EXTOLLED God’s name in Chapter 4:37
“Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down. “

GLORIFY THE LORD WITH ME
“Glorify the LORD with me, let us exalt His name together” Psalm 34:1-3
I will extol the LORD at all times,
His praise will always be on my lips.
My soul will boast in the LORD of all lords;
Let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Glorify the LORD with me;
Glorify the LORD with me;
Let us all exalt His name together
Let us all exalt His Holy name.
Glorify the LORD with me
Glorify the LORD;
Let us all exalt His holy name.
TO THEE WE ASCRIBE GLORY
“..ascribe to the LORD glory and strength” Psalm 29:1
To Thee we ascribe glory.
To Thee we ascribe honor,
To Thee we ascribe,
Power and majesty,
Holy is the LORD.
WE WILL GLORIFY
We Will Glorify the King of Kings – Lyrics Acapella
We will glorify the King of kings,
We will glorify the Lamb,
We will glorify the LORD of lords,
Who is the great I AM
LORD Jehovah reigns in majesty,
We will bow before His throne;
We will worship Him in righteousness,
We will worship Him alone.
He is LORD of heaven
Lord of earth,
He is LORD of all who live;
He is LORD above the universe,
All praise to HIM we give.
Hallelujah to the King of kings,
Hallelujah to the Lamb;
Hallelujah to the LORD of lords,
Who is the great I AM.
