Correction

To all of our church family,

After reviewing our email to you all earlier today, we omitted a crucial part of the steps to salvation…Baptism!   This was completely human error and an oversight on our part, so we wanted to take this opportunity to clarify.  

The scriptures are clear that baptism is required for salvation.

God's gift of grace is for all, but we must be obedient and accept His gift of grace in order to spend eternity in heaven.  The scriptures are clear on how to obtain eternal life:

We must hear the gospel – Romans 10:17   

We must believe – John 3:16; Acts 16:31

 

We must repent – Luke 13:1-5

 

We must confess him before men – Matthew 10:32-33

We must be baptized – Mark 16:16; 1 Peter 20-21; Colossians 2:11-13; Acts 2:37-38

 

Be faithful until death – Revelation 2:10
