* Nancy Melson continues to struggle with pain. She received a diagnosis that she has Polymyalgia Rheumatica and on medications now which will help her.
* Carol & Joe Ligouri requested prayers for the family of Carl Paternoster who are very close friends. Carl struggled with a long illness and passed this past week. His wife and family are taking it very hard. They are grateful for the prayers.
* Mary Lou’s friend Linda Roy who broke her leg recently, will not be able to walk on it for one year. She lives by herself and this will be very hard on her. Prayers in all regards for Linda.
* Pat Yaglowski continues to struggle with pain and the grief of losing their son Henry last year. Thanks for reaching out to her to encourage her during this difficult time.

This firmament which God created is beyond magnificent and simply incredible! What we see with our eyes is nothing short of breathtaking, yet it was our AWESOME GOD who spoke and created it all! Genesis 1
As we read in 1 Corinthians 2:9 and Isaiah 64:4 we read that “no eye has seen, no ear has heard , no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him!”
If all of this beauty that we see in this world is a pre curser for what is to come.. Heaven, will be something far beyond what we can fathom! The wonders and blessings God has prepared for those who love Him are beyond human comprehension, exceeding anything we can see or hear with our physical senses; this signifies the greatness and mystery of God’s plan that can be only understood through faith and the Holy Spirit.
In 1st Corinthians 2:7-8 we read,
“No, we speak of God’s secret wisdom,
a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined
for our glory before time began.
None of the rulers of this age understood it,
for if they had,
they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”
Human wisdom is based on what can be observed by our human senses and processed from our human logic and reason.
Paul goes on in 1st Corinthians 2: verse 9… “However, as it is written…

Jesus took Peter, James and John up a mountain to pray. While praying, His personal appearance was changed into a glorified form, and His clothing became dazzling white.
Matthew 17:2
“There he was transfigured before them.
His face shone like the sun
and his clothes became as white as the light.”
Moses and Elijah appeared and talked with Jesus about His death that would soon take place. The cloud lifted, Moses and Elijah had disappeared, and Jesus was alone with His disciples who were terrified.
Jesus gave them a glimpse of GOD’s GLORY. Undoubtedly, the purpose of the transfiguration of Christ into at least a part of His heavenly glory was so that the “inner circle” of His disciples could gain a greater understanding of who Jesus was. Christ underwent a dramatic change in appearance in order that the disciples could behold Him in His glory. The disciples, who had only known Him in His human body, now had a greater realization of the deity of Christ, though they could not fully comprehend it. This gave them the reassurance they needed after hearing the shocking news of His coming death.
Symbolically, the appearance of Moses and Elijah represented the Law and the Prophets. But God’s voice from heaven – “Listen to Him!” in Matthew 17:5 – clearly showed that the Law and the Prophets must give way to Jesus. The One who is the new and living way is replacing the old – He is the fulfillment of the Law and the countless prophecies in the Old Testament. Also, in His glorified form they saw a preview of His coming glorification and enthronement as King of kings and Lord of Lords.
Christians who have taken on Christ as their savior and follow Him, can look forward to a heavenly surprise for all eternity!
