Here is a picture of Mildred who is doing great! She is happy in the new house they’ve moved into and is well taken care of. She misses everyone and wants to send her love and well wishes! She is as sharp as ever and knows her birthday is coming up on November 2nd.

100 DAYS OF PRAYER
Simone Beans extended to the ladies of our congregation an opportunity to participate in 100 days of prayer. There is an orientation this Saturday to kick it off. Anyone interested can log on any Saturday over the next few weeks at 1:00 p.m.

One of the things which was witnessed last weekend with our Trunk & Treat and Harvest fellowship meal was the spirit of giving! People contributed food, supplies, their time in set up and clean up, there was love and kindness shown to all. The spirit of JOY and FELLOWSHIP prevailed!
Karsen Eddy was one of our trunk or treaters who after collecting a bucket full of candy and treats, decided to give all of it away to all of the other kids who attended! He CHEERFULLY showed us his empty bucket and said, “It’s ok. I wanted to give them away to all of the other kids!” Look at his smile that goes from ear to ear

The apostle Paul shares in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that God loves a CHEERFUL GIVER!

Cheerful giving must be carried out with genuine sincerity, without feeling pressured or coerced by external factors.
Paul’s description of CHEERFUL GIVING comes down to… the heart! Cheerful giving comes from a God-aligned attitude of generosity from within ourselves, for the Glory of God.
In looking deeper into this scripture of 2 Corinthians 9:7-11 it reads:
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give,
not reluctantly or under compulsion,
for God loves a cheerful giver.
And God is able to bless you abundantly,
so that in all things at all times,
having all that you need,
you will abound in every good work.
As it is written:
“He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor;
their righteousness endures forever.”
Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food
will also supply and increase your store of seed
and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.
You will be made rich in every way
so that you can be generous on every occasion,
and through us
your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”
When Paul speaks of abundant blessings, God takes delight when we give with a glad heart to glorify HIM.
God blesses us abundantly, so we can then give CHEERFULLY to others to show our love and appreciation of HIM!
God gave us JESUS, and He continues to give to us His mercy and His grace.
