* Molly Medling’s niece is fully recovered from her pneumonia. Thanks to all for your prayers!
* Thanks to all of you for being dedicated servants to this body of believers. God is to be glorified!
* Mary Lou asked for prayers for her friend who’s son is having a heart valve replacement.
* Pamela Pimpton’s daughter Kandice received good news that she does not have cancer, Praise God. She is still seeing several specialists who will work with her in lining up a date for surgery. Ken, Pamela and Kandice all appreciate our prayers.
* Tracie asked for prayers for Brad Frye who has cancer that has spread to his tongue. Prayers for his wife Shirley as well.
* Nancy Melson and her husband Gerry continue to deal with health struggles.
* Irene Aschen continues to deal with her health struggles and although she is discouraged, her faith is strong. The many meds come with side effects that are difficult and challenging so it is a constant battle. She has two rare diseases and is in mild congestive heart failure. Both Irene and Meegan miss being with us in person at worship, and they want to let everyone know how much they miss us all. They are waiting on God for clear direction.
Families with young children are encouraged to join in on the fun at the GLOW WILD exhibit at the Beardsley Zoo on December 7th at 6pm. Tickets can be purchased on the Beardsley Zoo website. Thanks to Derin & Kristen Wilson for organizing this!

How very blessed we serve an IMMUTABLE GOD who is in COMPLETE CONTROL…
How very blessed we are to have His Holy Word which reminds us, that GOD HOLDS US BY HIS RIGHT HAND…
How very blessed we have been given a SAVIOR who is the ROCK and
our SPIRITUAL CORNERSTONE – Psalm 118:22 & Matthew 21:42
The scriptures emphasize that God’s character is unchangeable. God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow for eternity – Hebrews 13:8

This old world is in a constant flux of change. Seasons change, jobs change, children grow up, and change happens on every front. Nothing in this life stays the same.
A Greek philosopher named Heraclitus who lived before Socrates, Plato & Aristotle coined this statement “The only thing constant is change.” Heraclitus captured what many others have also recognized, namely, that there is precious little that is stable in the world around us. Even the mountains, which appear to be so unchanging, are over time subject to erosion and alter their shape. It is not just the world around us that is unstable, but as time moves on, we experience physical, mental, moral and spiritual changes.
As Christians, we find true comfort and peace in knowing that we serve a God who NEVER changes!
As Christians we trust in the CREATOR of those mountains and ALL THERE IS!

Psalm 102:27
“In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
They will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
Like clothing you will change them
and they will be discarded.
But you remain the same,
and your years will never end.“

We can trust that every good and perfect gift is from GOD who will never change!
God is perfect and complete.
2 Samuel 22:31
“This God – his way is perfect;
the Word of the LORD proves true.
He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him.”
HIS LIGHT is unapproachable and constant.
1 Timothy 6:13-16
“In the sight of God,
who gives life to everything,
and of Christ Jesus,
who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession,
I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,
which God will bring about in his own time—
God, the blessed and only Ruler,
the King of kings and Lord of lords,
who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light,
whom no one has seen or can see.
To him be honor and might forever.
Amen.“

- God’s LIGHT is so bright that there is no shadow of turning. He is constant, yesterday, today and forever. When He tells us that He is with us, He will never change His mind about that statement, no matter what we do or where we go.
God reassures us 365 times in scripture to “DO NOT FEAR.”
Psalm 27:1
“The LORD is my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?“
JESUS lived His entire life to glorify His Father in Heaven. Every breath, every thought, every word and deed was to glorify God. His perfect example of His devotion and love, obedience & sacrifice, even to death and crucifixion on a cruel cross, help reassure us that we are wrapped in loving HANDS forever!
Being in God’s hands means that we entrust ourselves, our lives and our future in HIM. Once we wrap our minds around His incredible love for us, His Mercy and His Grace, and His gift of JESUS CHRIST, forgiving us of our sins and accepting us as His own, we can rest comfortably in HIS HANDS!
There are over 100 scriptures that refer to God holding us by our hand. Just as we parents hold onto our children’s hands in life, our heavenly Father holds our hands tightly by His hand and HE leads us through life. Jesus reassures us that the Love of God is so strong, (Higher, wider, deeper as we read in Ephesians 3:18 ) that no one can snatch them out of HIS FATHER’S HAND!

GOD IS IMMUTABLE and WILL NEVER CHANGE.
We serve the same God who kept His promises to Israel and He WILL keep His Promises with us!
Psalm 12:6-7
“The words of the LORD are pure words,
like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times.
You, O LORD, will keep them;
you will guard us from this generation forever.“

Time is filled with swift transition
Naught of earth unmoved can stand
Build your hopes on things eternal
hold to God’s unchanging hand.
Hold to His hand, to God’s unchanging hand
Hold to His hand, to God’s unchanging hand
Build your hope on things eternal
hold to to God’s unchanging hand .
Trust in Him, who will not leave you
whatsoever years may bring
If by earthly friends forsaken
Still more closely to Him cling.
Hold to His hand, to God’s unchanging hand
Hold to His hand, to God’s unchanging hand
Build your hope on things eternal
hold to to God’s unchanging hand .
Covet not this worlds vain riches
That so rapidly decay
Seek to gain the heavenly treasures
They will never pass away.
When your journey is completed.
If to God you have been true,
Fair and bright the home in Glory,
Your enraptured soul will view.
Hold to His hand, to God’s unchanging hand
Hold to His hand, to God’s unchanging hand
Build your hope on things eternal
hold to to God’s unchanging hand!
I KNOW WHO HOLDS TOMORROW
“But seek first His kingdom and His Righteousness. “
Matthew 6:33-34
I don’t know about tomorrow,
I just live from day to day;
I don’t borrow from it’s sunshine,
For it’s skies may turn to gray.
I don’t worry o’er the future, For I know what Jesus said,
And today I’ll walk beside Him,
For He knows what is ahead.
Many things about tomorrow,
I don’t seem to understand;
But I know who holds tomorrow,
And I know who holds my hand.
Every step is getting brighter
As the golden stairs I climb.
Every burden’s getting lighter,
Every cloud is silver lined.
There the sun is always shining,
There no tear will dim the eye,
At the ending of the rainbow,
Where the mountains touch the sky.
Many things about tomorrow,
I don’t seem to understand;
But I know who holds tomorrow,
And I know who holds my hand.
I don’t know about tomorrow,
It may bring me poverty.
But the one who feeds the sparrow,
Is the one who stands by me;
And the path that be my portion,
Maybe through the flame or flood,
But His presence goes before me,
And I’m covered with His blood.
Many things about tomorrow,
I don’t seem to understand;
But I know who holds tomorrow,
And I know who holds my hand.
