Hallelujah, praise Jehovah….and His Glory is Exalted

Good morning church family,
Psalm 33:6-9
By the word of the LORD the heavens were made,

And by the breath of His mouth all their host.

He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap;

He lays up the deeps in storehouses.
Let all the earth fear the LORD;

Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.

For HE spoke,

and it was done;

He commanded, and it stood fast.

The Psalmist David shares many Psalms focusing on PRAISING THE LORD.
Psalm 148 commands all of creation to praise the LORD.   In this Psalm we read that the LORD is praised from the heavens in the heavenly realm with the Angels, heavenly hosts, sun, moon, and shining stars. The Psalm goes on to share that everything Praises the LORD...the great sea creatures, all the ocean depths, lightning and hail, snow and clouds, mountains and hills, fruit trees and cedars, wild animals, cattle, small creatures and flying birds, and more.
When we look at the breathtaking sights of nature, and spend time learning about it, we can see how everything PRAISES THE LORD.    The intricate design of this firmament, speaks and shouts PERFECTION & GLORY of our Great and Wonderful God.

Webster Definition’s of ‘Instinct’ is:

“the inherent inclination of a living organism towards a particular complex behavior, containing innate (or inborn) elements.  The simplest example of an instinctive behavior is a fixed action pattern or FAP, in which a very short to medium length sequence of actions, without variation, are carried out in a response to a corresponding clearly defined stimulus.  “
Instinct is when behaviors are performed without being based upon prior experience (the absence of learning).

What makes sea turtles newly hatched on a beach, to instinctively move toward the ocean?
What makes a marsupial climb into its mother’s pouch upon being born?
What makes birds create specific nests relative to their species with their perfect design?
INSTINCT.

A PERFECT DESIGN,  BY A PERFECT CREATOR.
Colossians 1:16
For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth,

visible and invisible,

whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities –

all things have been created by Him and for Him.”
Every year, millions of wildebeest, zebra and other herd animals cross the Serengeti in Tanzania, heading north to the Massai Mara in Kenya.  One of the most incredible wildlife events in the world, the migration is fundamental to the entire Mara-Serengeti ecosystem.   All of these animals are motivated by instinct.  Their perfect design, by a Perfect Creator….

One of the most unique and amazing migration events occurs each autumn when thousands and thousands of monarch butterflies migrate to the warm mountains of central Mexico and the coastal regions of Southern California.

The whole animal kingdom Praises God!
There are caves in New Zealand which are home to under-ground Glowworms whose bioluminescence create amazing sights!  Stunning imagery captures how these tiny creatures radiate their unmistakable luminescent light in a subterranean world.

Revelation 4:11
Worthy art Thou, our Lord and our God,

to receive glory and honor and power;

for Thou didst created all things,

and because of Thy will

they existed,

and were created.
Billions of cicadas are about to emerge from underground in a rare double brood convergence.
Inline imageb1e670ba-c205-3b59-08a0-b026b7da6b56@yahoo.com>”>

This event will affect 17 states, from Maryland west to Iowa and south into Arkansas, Alabama, Northern Georgia, Carolinas, Virginia and Maryland.   A co-emergence like this of two specific broods with different life cycles happens only once every 221 years.  The last time these two groups emerged together was in 1803, when Thomas Jefferson was President.
For about four weeks, wooded and suburban areas will ring with cicadas’ distinctive whistling, buzzing and chirping mating calls.  After mating, each female will lay hundreds of eggs in pencil- size tree branches. Then the adult cicadas will die.  Once the eggs hatch, new cicada nymphs will fall from the trees and burrow back underground, starting the cycle again.
Humpback whales make some of the longest migrations on Earth.  Along the coast of South America, scientists tracked one whale traveling 18,942 kilometers over 265 days from the Antarctic Peninsula up to its winter breeding area off Columbia, then back to the Antarctic Peninsula.

There is so much more to the incredible design of our firmament.  All of nature and the heavens praise our magnificent Creator!

What about mankind?

We were made in God’s image.  Genesis 1:2627;  Psalm 139;  Ephesians 2:10
He made us free thinking to make choices… to Love Him, or not;  to follow Jesus, or not;  to Praise Him, or not.
The Psalmist David shares –  “The fool has said in his heart, there is no God”. Psalm 14:1 & Psalm 53:1
Will mankind worship Him, or not?
Are we living every moment with Praise to the Father?
Are we teaching our children to Praise the LORD?

In Luke 23:44-47 we read:  It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour, for the sun stopped shining and the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Jesus called out with a loud voice “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”  When he had said this, he breathed his last.
Nature could not keep silent!
We read in Matthew 27:45 that while Jesus was on the cross, darkness came upon the land and all watched.  When he had cried out in a loud voice and gave up his spirit in vs. 50, the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split.   The tombs were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the tombs.  in vs. 50-54  Now the centurion and those who were with him saw the earthquake and the things that were happening, became very frightened and said, “Truly this was the son of God.”
All of nature Praises God!   Psalm 148:13
All of the heavens Praises God!  Revelation 5:13
Mankind needs to Praise God.  Let’s be on our knees and give thanks to God for the precious gift of His Son.   It is way better to be on our knees now, than wait until the trumpet sounds when it will be too late.
     Romans 14:11
    “As surely as I live; says the Lord,
      every knee will bow before me;
      every tongue will acknowledge God.”
Let’s forget about ourselves and magnify His name and worship Him. WORSHIP HIM, CHRIST THE LORD.
Please join us each Sunday with bible classes at 10:00 a.m. for all ages and Worship at 11:00 a.m.

Spread the WORD, invite someone to worship…and  KEEP SINGING:
Hallelujah, praise Jehovah,
  1. From the heavens praise His name;
    Praise Jehovah in the highest,
    All His angels praise proclaim.
    All His hosts together praise Him,
    Sun, and moon, and stars on high;
    Praise Him, O ye heav’n of heavens,
    And ye floods above the sky.
  2. Let them praises give Jehovah,
    For His name alone is high,
    And His glory is exalted,
    And His glory is exalted,
    And His glory is exalted,
    Far above the earth and sky.

  3. Let them praises give Jehovah,
    They were made at His command,
    Them forever He established;
    His decree shall ever stand.
    From the earth, oh, praise Jehovah,
    All ye floods, ye dragons all;
    Fire, and hail, and snow, and vapors,
    Stormy winds that hear His call.

Let them praises give Jehovah,
For His name alone is high,
And His glory is exalted,
And His glory is exalted,
And His glory is exalted,
Far above the earth and sky.

  1. All ye fruitful trees and cedars,
    All ye hills and mountains high,
    Creeping things, and beasts, and cattle,
    Birds that in the heavens fly.
    Kings of earth, and all ye people,
    Princes great, earth’s judges all,
    Praise His name, young men and maidens,
    Aged men and children small.

Let them praises give Jehovah,
For His name alone is high,
And His glory is exalted,
And His glory is exalted,
And His glory is exalted,
Far above the earth and sky.

In Luke 19:40 In response to the Pharisees who asked Jesus to rebuke his disciples..
I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.
Romans 1:20
“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—
have been clearly seen,
being understood from what has been made,
so that people are without excuse.”
Romans 3:19
“..every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God.”
Let us PRAISE OUR CREATOR…
