Florence Hope (Mullins) Repecko passed from this life December 26, 2024 after a brief battle with AL Amyloidosis. Florence was preceded in death by her parents George and Lorraine Mullins and her granddaughter Melody Rose Repecko. Florence leaves behind her husband of almost 38 years John Repecko Jr., their son John Repecko III and his wife Kristen of Augusta Maine, their daughter Lauren Cyr and her husband Nicholas of Caribou Maine, their grandchildren Shawn, Kylie and Thomas Griffeth, Lochlan Repecko and Madison Cyr. Florence is also survived by her siblings Lynn Peterson and her husband Bruce, Frank Mullins and his wife Lisa, Ronda Ponte and her husband Charles, Lori Tivay and her husband Kamyar, Robert Mullins, and Nancy Tomasik and her husband Stanley as well as several nephews and nieces.
Florence was born February 27, 1965, and spent her life trying to help others. For much of her adult life Florence was a Certified Nursing Assistant and even operated a home daycare for a time. When that was no longer an option, she went back to college in her 50s to obtain her master’s degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Amridge University in 2019.
Florence greatly enjoyed feeding people and entertaining people in her home, often sending them home with enough food for lunch and then some for the next day. She learned how to quilt and crochet, making several quilts, blankets and throws for those she loved. These last few years she turned her talents to painting, once again sharing these with those around her. She also had a particular love for rescue animals, adopting more than a few over the years.
Florence was a believer in the Word of God and the promises held within its pages and the salvation offered through Jesus Christ. She taught Bible classes off and on for many years for children and ladies alike. It was one of the joys in her life. Even through her illness she never waivered in her faith knowing her reward awaited her elsewhere, beyond this life.
There will be a visitation and memorial service held at the Manchester Church of Christ on January 11, 2025. The visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 and the service will start at 3:30. There will be light refreshments following the service in the church’s fellowship hall following the service. The church is located at 66 Mammoth Rd., Manchester, NH 03109. The family asks that in lieu of flowers you donate to your local pet rescue.
“HELLO” FROM OUR PAST MEMBERS:
Lillie Bendolph sent a note wishing everyone a Happy New Year and saying “I love and miss you all.”
Vickie (Henderson) Seidel sent a card updating us on her family. Her Mother Deidre fell and broke her hip at the same time her husband Joseph was in the hospital for back surgery. Her son Caleb (now 2 years old) also had a medical incident which caused him to be rushed to Vanderbilt Children’s hospital, but she praises GOD and said that GOD got them all through it. Our prayers continue to be with the family as her Father John has struggles with dimentia. The great news is that Joseph was just accepted to Kentucky Mountain Bible College where he will get a degree in mission work. She asked us to ” tell everyone at church I love them and miss them!”.
Mike and Ginny Lichac sent several photos of long ago and have fond memories of the church here. Their message is: “Hope you enjoy the pic’s of the old days. They bring back precious memories of days gone by. We love you and cherish our memories with the Trumbull church.” They miss everyone and send their best wishes to all!
Serving together in this body of believers brings precious memories and moments together!

Jesus’ life and ministry focused entirely on the spiritual. He came to earth teaching his apostles and all people, to look beyond this life, to the eternal. Jesus was God in the flesh, and became the sacrificial lamb for the sins of the world.

Jesus performed countless miracles all of which were for God’s glory. He turned water into wine, healed the blind, made the lame to walk, calmed the storm, feed 5,000 people with 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread, raised people from the dead, healed the sick and many more. His miracles were to get people’s attention so they could focus on the LOVE that GOD HAS for US! His entire ministry was to get mankind to look UP and BEYOND this life.. The KINGDOM OF GOD!
There is nothing in this world that is more important than our relationship with God. We spend so much time on the “stuff” of life, the stuff that the world has decided is important. Accumulating more & more money, having a bigger house, nicer car, prestigious career, slimmer body, etc. are all the things that the world says are important. These things, amount to nothing in the face of eternity. Matthew 16:26 reads “What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?”
In Matthew chapter 6:25-34 we read how Jesus reassures His followers not to worry and to focus on the spiritual things.
“Therefore I tell you,
do not worry about your life,
what you will eat or drink;
or about your body, what you will wear.
Is not life more important than food and the body more important than clothes?
Look at the birds of the air:
they do not sow or reap or store away in barns and yet
your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not much more valuable than they?
Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
And why do you worry about clothes?
See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all of his splendor was dressed like one of these.
If that is how God clothes the grass of the field,
which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire,
will he not much more clothe you,
O you of little faith?
So do not worry, saying ”What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
But, Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,
and all these things shall be added to you.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow,
for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Jesus’s reassuring words to us place emphasis on not worrying about anything other than seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.
This life has a way of bringing us down. We become riddled with anxiety over the struggles of this world whether they be health or monetary struggles, stresses that encompass relationship issues, workplace challenges and more. People tend to focus on material and temporal things, neglecting the spiritual and eternal things.
To put Christ and His righteousness first in our lives, means setting spiritual priorities. Every day we are faced with choices and opportunities to put our time and energy into either the temporal things that have no lasting value, or to invest in things that are eternal and related to Christ. When we focus on the things that in the end won’t matter the least (material possessions, monetary gain, personal achievements, etc), we are simply spinning our wheels. It’s all for naught.
Our life is precious and as we all know, this life is but a vapor as we read in James 4:14…
“Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow.
What is your life?
You are a mist that appears for a little while
and then vanishes.“
God’s top two commandments remind us of what is most important…

Seeking God’s kingdom on earth is to love God, love our neighbors as ourselves. Living through the lens of Jesus Christ, we KNOW that our days are in God’s hands. Living for HIS GLORY, will bring us peace in our hearts.

The Apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 8:6 that “The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature, cannot please God.”
Paul goes on to reassure us in verse 18…
“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing
with the glory that will be revealed in us.
The creation waits in eager expectation
for the sons of God to be revealed.
For the creation was subjected to frustration,
not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it,
in hope that the creation itself will be liberated
from its bondage to decay
and brought into the
glorious freedom of the children of God.“
Our relationship with GOD must be an active one! We are required (i.e. commanded) to take action!
ASK
Communicate with GOD in prayer.
We get to approach the throne of GOD daily, at any time. Remember, we pray to the same GOD of Moses, Isaac and Jacob. We pray to the same GOD that parted the sea for Moses. The same GOD who raised JESUS from the dead.
Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.“
Matthew 6:6 “But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”
Matthew 6:9-13 “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread, Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors,
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.“
Ecclesiastes 2:26 “To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

JESUS IS THE DOOR OF THE SHEEP…

In John 10:7 we read that Jesus is the door...”So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.”
Luke 11:9 “And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.“
Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.“
Always remember, that in CHRIST,we are more than conquerors and nothing will be able to separate us from GOD’s LOVE.

Our spiritual journey begins with one small step of faith. Our relationship with God should be our top priority and intertwined with all of the decisions we make on a daily basis. God promises that He will supply all of our needs when we put our FAITH in HIM & trust HIS HOLY WORD. There is nothing in this life of more importance than following His One and Only Son JESUS.
How AWESOME IS the GOD we serve that He has prepared for us a place to live with him forever!
