Good morning to our church family,
The leaves have already started to change color and Fall is around the corner! Praise God for His Glory which surrounds us!

One of our former members Vickie Henderson Seidel sent this photo of her son Caleb and wanted to say HI to everyone. They continue to do well and are staying with her parents John and Dedra in Kentucky.
GIVING THANKS:
* Thanks to everyone for your prayers for Michelle Rajpolt! She has been discharged and is finally home with her family! The medical team at Mt. Sinai gave her a hero’s send-off with applause by the entire staff. This has been an incredible story and the prayers have helped her in all facets of her journey! Michelle’s heart was failing, and from the moment the decision was made to bump her up to #1 on the transplant list, to a heart coming in the very next day until now, each and every part of this story has been blessed by GOD! She is someone who has a tender heart for the LORD and she will no doubt use her story to bless others for CHRIST on their journey!
PRAYER REQUESTS:
* Prayers for all of the children returning to school and for the Teachers as well!
* The Eddys have requested prayers for Ryan (a worker they’ve used in the past in their home) who is in his early 30’s and fell off a ladder on another job, and broke his back. The doctors are not sure he will ever walk or work again.
* Irene Aschen asked for prayers as she is balancing medicines to treat several conditions for her delicate health issues.
* Tatyana Malagutti is undergoing testing for several medical issues. Prayers for the proper medical diagnosis and balancing meds.
* Continued prayers for the family of Jacqueline Charles. Here is her obituary for those who were not able to attend the viewing or the memorial service. Jackie, a former member visited Trumbull just a month ago and her stroke was sudden and eventually took her life. A true wake up call for all of us, to love, and appreciate your days, for our life is but a vapor, with no guarantees of tomorrow.

93e72e3b-a63d-e4ad-f158-697d1e280d40@yahoo.com>”>In Matthew 19:13 – 15 we read…
“Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.”
THE GREATEST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN
The scriptures are clear that children are precious in God’s sight. So precious, that Jesus shared an important message with his disciples…that children are considered the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
In Matthew 18:1-5
“At that time, the disciples came to Jesus and asked,
“Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
He called a little child and had him stand among them.
And He said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change
and become like little children
you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Therefore whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
“And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.
But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin,
it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck
and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
Jesus’s stern message to us all is to be humbled like a little child! They are pure, they are innocent, they love unconditionally, they wonder, they forgive, and they teach us more than we could ever teach them. The Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these!
868de563-7a70-1ad7-96ec-a68ef75a8390@yahoo.com>”>As Christian parents, we need to give our children the best of the best and teach them God’s Word which will lead them to salvation. To mold them and shape them for the LORD.
a8162eb5-8dec-01f9-3dbb-ffd73cf5cbf2@yahoo.com>”>This SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1st our children’s bible classes will begin studying the New Testament.
We give a HUGE thanks to Steve and Debbie Froehlich who not only wrote our bible based curriculum but who also lead our christian education here at Trumbull. The curriculum is biblically sound and has been a rich resource for us for many years, for which we are so grateful!
We also give a lot of thanks to all of our teachers who put in a lot of work teaching God’s Word each week! Establishing the foundation of FAITH for these children will help pave the way to eternity.

King Solomon shared in Proverbs 22:6 to “train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”
It all begins with the Bible. Teaching children the truths of Scripture will make them wise for salvation. This is not about just going to church…but this IS about teaching them that they have a Creator who loves them, that they have a Savior, and that they have a soul. Building this faithful foundation will shape that soul for eternity!
1de2a95c-17a4-9c3e-607b-5ee562b2b9e3@yahoo.com>”>To prepare them to withstand the onslaught of what is to come, they need to be rooted in God’s Word.
1 Peter 3:15
“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord.
Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope
that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,
keeping a clear conscience,
so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ
may be ashamed of their slander“
a8876740-22aa-7383-fa8e-50adb02094f8@yahoo.com>”>Clearly Scripture teaches that training children to know and obey God, is the basis for pleasing Him and living victoriously in His grace. Parents should have the same zeal for teaching their children that Moses did. Parents have been given the privilege of being stewards of their children’s lives for a very short time, but the teaching and training they provide is eternal.
To place upon them the value that God placed on teaching our children the truth, is clearly addressed by Moses who stressed to his people the importance of teaching their children about the Lord and His commands and laws. To LOVE the LORD our GOD…above anything else!
Deuteronomy 6:4-9
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.
Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.
Impress them on your children.
Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road,
when you lie down and when you get up.
Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
Write them on the doorframes of your houses and your gates.”
As we teach our children about the LORD, there is no doubt we will learn more from them.
Psalm 78:1-8
“O my people; hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in parables,
I will utter hidden things, things from of old –
what we have heard and known,
what our fathers have told us.
We will not hide them from their children;
We will tell the next generation
the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD,
His power, and the wonders he has done.
He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel
which he commanded our forefathers to teach their children,
so the next generation would know them,
even the children yet to be born,
and they in turn would tell their children.
Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds
but would keep his commands.
They would not be like their forefathers – a stubborn and rebellious generation.
whose hearts were not loyal to God,
whose spirits were not faithful to him.”
BE JOYOUS & KEEP SINGING:
JESUS LOVES ME
(with the counterpoint melody)
Jesus Loves me this I know
(You must become like a little child, like a little child come unto HIM)
For the Bible tells me so.
(You must become like a little child, to enter the Kingdom of GOD).
Little ones to HIM belong
They are weak and HE is strong.
Yes, JESUS LOVES ME! (Come unto JESUS)
Yes, JESUS LOVES ME! (Come into His arms)
Yes, JESUS LOVES ME! (Come unto JESUS)
The Bible tells me so! (And you shall find the KINGDOM of GOD)
JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN
Jesus loves the little children,
All the children of the world,
Red and yellow black and white,
They are precious in His sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world!
Jesus died for all the children,
All the children of the world,
Red and yellow black and white,
They are precious in His sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world!
Jesus rose for all the children,
All the children of the world,
Red and yellow black and white,
They are precious in His sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world!
Jesus lives for all the children
All the children of the world,
Red and yellow black and white,
They are precious in His sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world!
I LOVE TO TELL THE STORY
I Love to Tell the Story
Of unseen things above,
Of Jesus and His glory,
Of Jesus and His love;
I love to tell the story, because I know tis true;
It satisfies my longings
As nothing else can do.
I love to tell the story!
‘Twill be my theme in glory,
To tell the old, old story,
Of Jesus and His love.
I love to tell the story;
More wonderful it seems
Than all the golden fancies,
Of all my golden dreams;
I love to tell the story;
It did so much for me;
And that is just the reason
I tell it now to thee.
I love to tell the story!
‘Twill be my theme in glory,
To tell the old, old story,
Of Jesus and His love.
I love to tell the story;
Tis pleasant to repeat what seems,
each time I tell it,
More wonderfully sweet;
I love to tell the story,
For some have never heard
The message of salvation
From God’s own Holy Word.
I love to tell the story!
‘Twill be my theme in glory,
To tell the old, old story,
Of Jesus and His love.
I love to tell the story,
For those who know it best
Seem hungering and thirsting
To hear it like the rest;
And when in scenes of glory,
I sing the new, new song.
‘Twill be the old, old story,
That I have loved so long.
I love to tell the story!
‘Twill be my theme in glory,
To tell the old, old story,
Of Jesus and His love.
