PRAYER REQUESTS:
Prayers for our upcoming Vacation Bible School that all goes well and that God will be glorified.
Prayers for Zach & Jin as they prepare to head to Albert Einstein Medical School at the end of July.
Continued prayers for the Brock, Holly and Baxter families during a very difficult time.
Many events are happening over the next few months…all LORD WILLING and with Praise and Glory to God.
Ron has started a bible study of the Gospel of John on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. This book is foundational to the Christian faith and a great study for everyone! If you are unsure as to how to share God’s Word with someone, please invite them to join this study.
There will be a young adult barbecue at Debbie Christy’s house on Saturday, July 25 after VBS! (starting around 3 pm and going throughout the day) Please see Debbie or Zach for more details.
Lord willing our VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL will be held on Saturday July 25th! The theme this year is “With JESUS I’m a Superhero”. Thanks to all for your support of this evangelistic effort and is a fun event for children.

We are still in need of 2 teacher’s helpers and 2 tents.

May 2027 is the New England Lectureship.
Serving at Tidal River Christian Camp this past week was an absolutely edifying experience that left a lasting mark on all of our hearts. It was a profound joy to watch the children gather each day, eagerly listening to God’s Word and letting it take root in their lives.
The campfire and green benches truly came alive when their voices rose in song together, filling the air with beautiful Songs of Praise to God. In those sweet, unified moments of worship and fellowship, everyone tasted a little piece of heaven on earth.
An environment this powerful does not happen by accident. Heartfelt thanks go out to every single person from our congregation and others, who contributed food, supplies, those who served and sacrificed their time, energy, and resources to make camp happen. From the counselors and cooks, to the behind-the-scenes hands, your labor of love created a joyful, safe sanctuary for these campers to grow closer to Christ.
“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Mark 12:31 was one of the scriptures taught.
Kindness at camp prevailed from the dedicated counselors who traveled with the campers 24/7 taking the utmost care of them, to the administrators who lovingly and gently addressed any concerns.
All praise belongs to God for sustaining this vital ministry and for the dedicated individuals who keep this camp going year after year. Operating this sleepover camp in the state of Connecticut requires a massive amount of work, requiring endless planning, physical labor, and spiritual stamina.
We give God all the glory for strengthening all of the volunteers and continuing to use TRCC as a beacon of faith and light for our youth.
Each year it becomes more difficult to keep this camp going.
Each year the numbers of children are dwindling as the evil one is dimming the lights.
30 years ago, TRCC had waiting lists for kids to attend.
30 years ago, we would have over 100 children attend our Vacation Bible school here at Trumbull.
Pat Keller sent the above 911 notice that camp needed help or they would need to cancel one week of camp. He addressed the congregation saying that several volunteers had pulled out of their responsibilities at camp at the last minute, and that the week of camp from July 4- 11 was likely to be cancelled unless they came up with a team of helpers.
God had other plans!
May we never look at the numbers, but at the power of God.
As we read in scripture, God works with the remnant.
In Genesis 6-9 we read about the biblical account of Noah and his family. In a world filled with corruption, God preserved just 8 people to restart humanity.
Babylonian empire- Prophets like Isaiah and Jeremiah promised that while Israel would face judgment, a holy remnant would return to rebuild. Isaiah 10:21
Jesus called 12 apostles to bring the saving message of the Gospel of Salvation to all of the world.

God delights in using small numbers, and unlikely flawed people to display His absolute power and glory.
The children who attended camp and who will attend Vacation Bible school, and who attend our Bible classes are learning the most important thing they could ever learn…they are learning about How much God loves them; the saving power of Jesus Christ the Prince of Glory, & the hope of Heaven. They are learning that there is so much more to life, than what this old world offers.
Heaven is a wonderful place, filled with glory and grace!
On the last day of camp, one of the boys wanted to be baptized. He had contemplated it and asked a lot of questions to Logan during the week. His family came to watch his baptism and afterwards, he rejoiced with tears of joy. The Angels in Heaven were singing & another soul was saved!
