Luke 15:10
“In the same way, I tell you,
There is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God
over one sinner who repents.
Anthony Carter’s baptism last Sunday was a time of elation and incredible JOY for us all!

We have a new brother in Christ and we are REJOICING!
God desires that all mankind come to Him, and obey His command to be buried in the waters of baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

Mark 16:15-16
“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world
and preach the gospel to all creation.
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved,
but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

In Mark chapter 3 Jesus redefines the concept of family.   His true family is not defined by bloodlines but by obedience to God.
Who are Jesus’ brothers and sisters?
Mark chapter 3:33-35
“And he answered them, “Who are my mother and my brothers?”
And looking about at those who sat around him, he said,
“Here are my mother and my brothers!
For whoever does the will of God,
he is my brother and sister and mother.”
In John 3:14 Jesus referred to Moses lifting up the serpent in the wilderness, predicting His own crucifixion and the way humanity would be saved.

When we believe and are obedient to the commandment given by Jesus Christ to be baptized, God adopts us into His family and considers us “joint heirs” with His Son, Jesus.
Can we fathom that Jesus Christ,  Lord, Savior,  King of Kings,  Alpha Omega,  Light of the World,  Morning Star, Prince of Peace,  Wonderful Counselor,  Lamb of God,  Good Shepherd,  Chief Cornerstone,  Great High Priest,  Holy and Righteous One,  Lord of Glory, Messiah,  Teacher,  Immanuel,  The Truth,  The Word, The Great I AM….. is our brother!
We are one with Christ through our baptism by immersion into His blood and become a NEW CREATION!
Our spiritual relationships within the body of Christ allows each member to be part of the church, the Bride of Christ.  Ephesians 5:25-27
Revelation 19:7-9
Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready;  It was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure” – for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.  And the angel said to me, “Write this:  Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.”  And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”
1 Corinthians 12:12-27  “Now you are the body of Christ, and each of you is a member of it.
The Apostle Paul speaks of unity in the body of Christ.   One body, One Spirit, One hope, One Lord, One faith, One baptism and One God & Father in
Ephesians 4:1-6
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
Be completely humble and gentle,
be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.  There is one body and one Spirit just as you were called to one hope when you were called – one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”
Ephesians 4:15-16
PRAISE GOD for our eternal salvation!
PRAISE GOD for JESUS CHRIST who suffered and took the fall for us!
PRAISE GOD for our new brother in Christ.
PRAISE HIM & KEEP SINGING:
THERE IS POWER IN THE BLOOD

Would you be free from the burden of sin?
There’s power in the blood,  power in the blood.
Would you o’er evil a victory win?
There’s wonderful power in the blood.
There is power, power,
Wonder working power, in the blood , of the Lamb.
There is power, power,
Wonder working power, in the precious blood of the Lamb.
Would you be free from you passion and pride?
There’s power in the blood, power in the blood.
Come for a cleansing to Calvary’s tide;
There’s wonderful power in the blood
There is power, power,
Wonder working power, in the blood , of the Lamb.
There is power, power,
Wonder working power, in the precious blood of the Lamb.

Would you be whiter, much whiter than snow?
There’s power in the blood, power in the blood.
Sin stains are lost in its life giving flow;
There’s wonderful power in the blood.
There is power, power,
Wonder working power, in the blood , of the Lamb.
There is power, power,
Wonder working power, in the precious blood of the Lamb.

Would you do service for Jesus your King?
There’s power in the blood, power in the blood.
Would you live daily His praises to sing?
There’s wonderful power in the blood.
There is power, power,
Wonder working power, in the blood , of the Lamb.
There is power, power,
Wonder working power, in the precious blood of the Lamb.
